Tanner Day TQ & Wins Invitational 4wd Modified Buggy at the 2018 End of Summer Invitational!
The 2018 End of Summer Invitational race was held this past weekend at Dave's R/C Tracks in Hubbard, Oregon. Located just 30-minutes south of downtown Portland, Dave's RC Tracks is one of Oregon's last remaining dirt off-road tracks in the state. This years track layout was very technical and consisted of many jump sections that would challenge the best drivers in the Northwest.
Race Schedule:
Saturday, September 8th: 5 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, September 9th: Lower Main Bump-Ups / Triple A-Main Events
4wd Modified Buggy
The largest and most competitive class of the weekend was the 4wd Modified Buggy class. Muchmore's Tanner Day would take the overall TQ honors by just 1-point over his Muchmore teammate Jackson Andres.
After all 3 A-Main Events were completed, it was Muchmore's Tanner Day taking the overall Win to cap off a perfect weekend! Muchmore's Jackson Andres took the win in A-Main #3 to guarantee himself a spot on the podium in 3rd. Muchmore USA Team Manager Joe Pillars showed great pace all weekend long and would finish 4th overall to put 3 Muchmore drivers in the top 5!
